Here's a few of my favourite ideas and resources for you to read, download, use and share with others. I'm a big believer in 'giving psychology away' so these are my gifts to you, and I am happy for you to pass on to others. I only ask that you give credit where it is due, including the research references where relevant :)

If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, feel free to get in touch. I'd love to hear from you!

Lots more coming soon...

Flourishing Career Audit

Are you flourishing in your career? This is a self-reflection tool based upon Seligman's (2011) PERMA model: Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Achievement. In coaching, we can explore what this means for you. We can use it to set goals and explore ways to achieve them.

VIA Character Strengths

Do you know your strengths? We tend to recoil when talking about our strengths, don't we!? I'm working on being proud of mine - here's my top 5 (pictured). This free 15 min online tool can help identify your strengths. In 1:1 coaching, we can explore how you're using them in your work, and how you can tap into them to improve your career satisfaction...

Values sort cards

These values sort cards by Miller et al (2001) can be printed, cut up and sorted in relation to their importance. You can use them to work out what is most important to you. In 1:1 coaching, we could use these to shape your aspirations and goals, and to guide your decisions about what you want to achieve in your career.

Have, Be, Do

Consider what you'd like to achieve in your career, by mapping out what you would like to have, be and do in your career. You can think in the short term and/or long term. In coaching sessions, I can support you to use this tool to reflect on your career goals and aspirations. (Email me to request it)

Good Day / Bad Day

You might have used this activity with children and young people, but have you ever considered it yourself? What makes a good day and bad day at work as an EP? This activity works best if we can discuss it together, so I can guide you through it, but you can also use it as a self-reflection tool. (Email me to request it
